The last few years have seen an incredible amount of change, with many of us taking time now to reflect on our own personal situations.
As market conditions have started to pick up, we have noticed common themes in terms of what people are looking for when considering their next move.
- Is the business solid financially?
- Will the role content keep me interested and engaged?
- Does the business place strong emphasis on their employees and their development?
We are working with a business that have navigated the storm well. They have kept everyone employed, maintained production levels/customer satisfaction and find themselves looking at 2022 and the future with increased optimism.
They have a market leading presence in their industry sector as well as opportunities to push this further into new territories.
In order to achieve this growth, they understand the need to continually attract, retain and engage a highly skilled workforce.
This is where you come into it!
An opportunity now exists to join the Leadership Team and partner with the MD and Business, to deliver the people agenda of their current transformation project.
It is envisaged that you will come from a similar manufacturing or engineering environment where you are used to working with a diverse mix of employees from unionised shop floor colleagues through to the range of commercial functions. You will also have the capacity to balance the UK requirements with that of the wider group function.
You will engage closely with colleagues at all levels to understand current challenges and then bring forward relevant people centric solutions to ensure that everyone in the business can succeed.
In terms of the role content, it’s a real mix.
Interesting work though as you will be leading on a number of improvement projects as well as supporting your senior managers and leaders in a true business partner capacity.
The role is focused on continually improving the development and retention of a high calibre workforce. From physical facilities, through competitive reward to opportunities for development, they want to continue to develop and be the best employer that they can be.
So, if you are a commercially focussed HR professional, who enjoys a mix of operational and strategic workload, then it could well be one for you!
This is a big challenge, and we are looking for a lot, however, in return, you will be joining an organisation that places great emphasis on its people and contributing significantly to their ongoing development.
